I am a window
I could lighten up your life,
When you open my thick black curtain,
Introduce you to a new world
Which will
Fill a dark and stuffy room
Sometimes with the frosty November breeze,
Or maybe with the soothing smells
Of the foggy forest nearby.
But if you’re lucky enough
You can meet the sincere daylight
Slipping into the room —and making it bright
So that
You can see the brightened room clearly
Like you’re looking into your own soul
With the orange light —strained from me,
Your wide open window.
